I nearly fell off the couch yesterday when I saw on Twitter that Arizona gubernatorial loser Kari Lake "practically lives" at Mar-a-Lago with Donald Trump and his wife Melania.
Not since I discovered that Valerie Jarrett was making up a threesome with Barack and Michelle Obama have I cringed this hard.
According to People Magazine, an "exclusive source" claims that Kari Lake is at Mar-a-Lago "every night." In fact, she's become such a permanent fixture that Kari has her own suite.
Good grief, she's the Pamala Des Barres of politics. Just a hungry groupie desperate to hang out with the band.
Are you cringing too?
Laura Loomer must be green with envy.
What the hell is Kari doing living at Mar-a-Lago?
Is she vying for Veep or First Lady?
Only losers crash at someone else's place for months on end.
Wait…
…Never mind.
No wonder Melania has made herself scarce.
Hasn't her husband embarrassed her enough? She had to live through being publicly humiliated by porn actresses and Playboy pin-ups, and now she's being displaced by Donald's hungry groupie.
According to People, Melania keeps to herself except for Saturdays when she dines with her husband.
If Kari doesn't hit the bricks soon, Trump might want to hire a taster for Saturday night dinners with the Missus.
I hear Laura Loomer is eager for a job.
The presumption here is that Kari Lake is making herself a permanent fixture at Mar-a-Lago in hopes that Trump taps her as his running mate on the outside chance he manages to win the nomination.
Of course, if you make yourself a permanent fixture at Mar-a-Lago, you run the risk of being plated in gold and placed by a potted ficus in the master bathroom. Then again, Kari Lake might be fine with that. Who knows how far she's willing to go to catch Donald's eye?
When Trump eventually turns on Kari and tosses her under the bus like all the others, can you imagine how embarrassed she'll be over this?
Then again, if Kari Lake's behavior over the last six months didn't embarrass her, nothing will.
And you wonder why so many people don't take the Trump 2024 campaign seriously.
