A is for Attention
When “Attention-Starved Asshole” doesn't fit on the shirt, one is forced to compromise.
You would think that after Hamas’ savage and evil attack in Israel, members of the House of Representatives could rise to the occasion and adopt a more serious and dignified approach to their jobs.
Alas, that is not the case.
Yesterday, South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace showed up at the Capitol wearing a big, red letter “A” emblazoned on her shirt.
Given the number of attention-starved narcissists that swagger through the halls of the Capitol, I guess expecting a modicum of sober professionalism, even at a time like this, is a bridge too far.
When asked by a reporter from the Washington Examiner why she was dressed like a fool, Mace burped out this laughably moronic answer:
“After being demonized for using my voice and my vote last week, I don’t answer to Washington. I answer to the people. And no matter what D.C. insiders throw at me, I will always be for the people”
“Demonized?” “Using my voice?”
That’s the nonsensical drivel one typically hears from lightweight know-nothings like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Throw in the phrase “in terms of” and Nancy’s response would be indistinguishable from the word salads Kamala Harris typically tosses.
That was an idiotic, absurd response that, in the end, doesn’t even come close to explaining why a member of the body that holds the power of the purse and the authority to declare war is parading through the Capitol like a sophomore Gender Studies major with a chip on her shoulder.
Let’s read that response again.
“After being demonized for using my voice and my vote last week, I don’t answer to Washington. I answer to the people. And no matter what D.C. insiders throw at me, I will always be for the people”
Grow up, you imbecilic fussbudget. Nobody is “demonizing” you for “using” your “voice.”
What we are doing is treating you with the mockery and disrespect you earned.
Come on. Nobody, not even the boyfriend she screwed before that prayer breakfast, is buying a word of that.
Nancy isn’t a brave warrior fighting the DC establishment, nor did she pull that stunt for our benefit.
This was all about Nancy, an attention whore who, lacking the skill or intelligence required to accomplish anything of substance in Congress, has resorted to childish, “look-at-me” stunts to gain media attention and raise campaign cash from gormless fools on social media.
Seriously guys. Can we please stop electing fools like Nancy Mace?
It’s bad enough when Democrat voters send useless, unserious clowns to Congress. But when Republican voters do it, it makes me cringe with disgust.
